Trademark Consent Letter Template

A template for a letter issued by an owner of a trademark registration, consenting to co-existence with a later-filed trademark.

If your trademark application is refused by the USPTO because of a likelihood of confusion with an existing trademark registration, you can try to get this letter signed by the owner of that existing trademark registration. You can then submit it to the USPTO when you respond to your office action, and the USPTO will weigh it heavily when re-evaluating your trademark application, greatly increasing your chances of reaching registration.
