Markhound Lite is the web-based version of the internal Markhound tool we use to value trademarks listed for sale on Communer. Both versions of Markhound are free.
Markhound incorporates Communer’s proprietary sales data, the USPTO’s trademark database API, and our AI-assisted marketability score. Our internal version also incorporates any extra domains and trademarks you might want to offer as part of your listing.
Every new listing on Communer features the Markhound Appraisal near the listing price.

Markhound Brand Score
The Markhound® Brand Score is an AI-assisted assessment of the overall appeal of your brand based on factors like length, ease of pronunciation, memorability, positive and negative connotations, and distinctiveness both for your industry and in general.
The score ranges from 0-10. For this web-based version of Markhound, we only evaluate the Brand Score once.
If you apply to list your trademark on Communer, our full version of Markhound will run your brand through our Brand Score engine three separate times and use the average score to give you a consistent assessment.
